What to Do If You’re Not Getting Campaigns (Yet)

What to Do If You’re Not Getting Campaigns (Yet)

At Sound.Me, we’re thrilled to offer a wide range of brand-sponsored campaigns to our talented creator community. But what if you’re not seeing any campaigns—or not getting approved for the ones you apply to?

Don’t worry. This doesn’t mean your account won’t succeed. Campaign availability can vary based on a number of factors, and while we can’t guarantee a specific number of campaigns for every user, we can help you improve your chances. Below are key steps to take so you’re in the best position possible to land opportunities.

✅ 1. Enable Your GEO Location

This is non-negotiable. GEO location helps Sound.Me show you campaigns available in your country. If your location isn’t enabled—or if you selected the wrong country—you may be missing out on targeted opportunities. Double-check your settings to ensure they reflect your actual location.

🔎 2. Make Sure Your Profile Is Complete

A full TikTok profile signals credibility. Make sure your bio is filled out and reflective of your content. Brands and campaign managers do take this into account.

Also: Post frequently and diversify your content. If your feed consists only of paid campaign posts or low-effort videos, you’re less likely to be selected. A healthy mix of organic, creative, and Sound.Me content goes a long way.

🎥 3. Focus on Quality Content

If your videos are blurry, poorly lit, or lacking energy, you may not get approved even if you apply. Quality matters. Every. Time.

Here’s how to make your content campaign-worthy:

  • Good lighting – Natural light or a ring light works wonders.
  • Clean audio – Use the promoted sound at 100% volume (unless the campaign says otherwise).
  • Stable footage – Avoid shaky shots or quick cuts that are hard to follow.
  • Effort shows – Don’t just upload a still image or low-effort clip. Creators who go the extra mile stand out.

📋 4. Follow Campaign Rules (Exactly)

Once you're in a campaign, it's critical to follow all guidelines. Failing to do so can lead to rejection—and impact your future eligibility. Here’s a checklist for successful submissions:

  • Your video must be at least 10 seconds long.
  • The promoted sound must be audible and used correctly.
  • No talking over the sound unless specified.
  • Videos should remain on your profile for at least 45 days.
  • Avoid politics, dangerous acts, or product promotion.
  • Don’t mention you’re “just doing this to get paid.”
  • Don’t reuse copyrighted clips—content must be your own.
  • You must appear in the video yourself.
  • Stick to the provided links and sounds only.

🚫 5. Avoid These Common Mistakes

If you're applying to campaigns but not completing videos—or submitting low-effort or incorrect content—it may reduce your chances of being selected in the future. Brands and campaign managers want reliable, professional creators. If you commit to a campaign, be sure to follow through.

🧠 6. Understand Campaign Targeting

Some campaigns are limited to certain follower counts, demographics, or content styles. If your account doesn’t align with a campaign’s goal, you simply may not be eligible—and that’s okay. Focus on building your audience, improving your videos, and applying when campaigns that match your vibe come around.

🙌 Keep Going—Your Campaign is Coming

Even if you haven’t been selected yet, stay positive and keep creating. Our platform sees new campaigns launched regularly. The more active, authentic, and high-quality your content is, the better your chances of being noticed.

So show up, bring your best energy, and trust the process—you’ve got this!
